India may continue imposing anti-dumping duties on aluminium foil from China, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia for another five years, following a recommendation from the Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR). The upward trend that had returned after the 2023 downturn failed to hold, with shipments slipping again even as some markets continued to show resilience in H1 2026.
