The average alumina spot price in China has gone up by RMB 3 per tonne on Tuesday, February 7, after remaining restrained since January 31. The price as of today settled at 2,950, followed by a growth of RMB 10 per tonne in Shandong and Guizhou to come in at RMB 2,925 per tonne and RMB 2,880 per tonne.
On the other hand, the alumina prices in Henan and Shanxi have shown no change to close at RMB 2,995 per tonne and RMB 2,970 per tonne. As per the data, the alumina prices in Guangxi, Lianyungang and Bayuquan have also remained restrained at RMB 2,890 per tonne, RMB 2,925 per tonne and RMB 3,025 per tonne.
China’s A00 aluminium ingot price has hiked by RMB 250 per tonne to close at RMB 19,000 per tonne, with the average prices expected to range between RMB 18,980 per tonne and RMB 19,020 per tonne. The spot contract price is expected to be traded at a discount price of RMB 80 to RMB 40 per tonne.
As per the SMM data, the A00 aluminium ingot price in Hangzhou has gained RMB 245 per tonne to halt at RMB 19,005 per tonne, followed by a growth of RMB 240 per tonne in Gongyi and Wuxi to settle at RMB 18,870 per tonne and RMB 18,995 per tonne. In Foshan, the price went up by RMB 230 per tonne to reside at RMB 19,010 per tonne. On the same day, the prices in Chongqing, Shenyang and Linyi climbed up by RMB 220 per tonne to peg at RMB 19,000 per tonne, RMB 18,970 per tonne and 18,970 per tonne. In Tianjin, the A00 aluminium ingot price has increased by RMB 200 per tonne to clock at RMB 18,980 per tonne.
The domestic price of low carbon aluminium in China has hiked by RMB 230 per tonne to peg at RMB 19,592 per tonne. The high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high purity aluminium (99.996%) price have surged by RMB 300 per tonne to reside at RMB 27,000 per tonne and RMB 28,000 per tonne.
The aluminium alloy (A356) price has gained RMB 250 per tonne to stop at RMB 20,150 per tonne, with the average prices ranging between RMB 20,000 per tonne and RMB 20,300 per tonne. On the same day, the price of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) climbed by RMB 50 per tonne to peg at RMB 19,750 per tonne and RMB 20,750 per tonne. The average price for aluminium alloys (ADC12) is expected to stand between RMB 19,650 per tonne and RMB 19,850 per tonne. Aluminium alloy (A380) may orbit between RMB 20,650 per tonne and RMB 20,850 per tonne.
