The Brazilian Aluminum Can Manufacturers Association (Abralatas) and the digital content platform World of Cans have established a cooperation agreement. This partnership provides the technical content created by the World of Cans with a new channel for dissemination through Abralatas, while offering its userbase access to the aluminum can industry in Brazil.
{alcircleadd}World of Cans is a resource hub for the aluminum beverage can industry. It is focused on providing high-quality content focused on technical knowledge, as well as an extensive catalog of suppliers and an industry event calendar. Its goal is to connect professionals within the aluminum beverage can industry, promoting interaction, knowledge sharing and curiosities.
Abralatas is the first association to join this community, with an exclusive space that features information about the Brazilian market and explains how the entity works to enhance the competitiveness of aluminum cans in Brazil. More than just a direct channel for connecting with Abralatas, it invites other organizations within the can’s value-chain to join the association's activities.
According to Cátilo Cândido, Executive President of Abralatas, this partnership strengthens Abralatas' presence on the international stage. “Brazil is the third-largest global market for aluminum cans, trailing only China and the United States. We are also a reference in circular economy, maintaining recycling rates above 95% for over 15 years. We aim to increase our connections with other markets to enhance knowledge exchange, share experiences, and further unify the entire sector,” he explained.
Kalvis Jaunarajs, Founder and CEO of World of Cans, shared: “we are proud to begin working with Abralatas. This partnership will help further promote the aluminum beverage can, while helping strengthen the global community of professionals working in the can industry."
Information sharing is at the heart of this partnership. While World of Cans connects Abralatas with global players, the association’s social media channels will feature video content from the platform, all with Portuguese subtitles to make it easier for the Brazilian audience to learn about the aluminum can manufacturing process.
