A manufacturer in China is offering 6063-T5 BIPV Aluminium Curtain Wall Profiles for building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) façade systems. The profiles are designed to frame photovoltaic modules that function as curtain-wall elements, providing structural support while accommodating requirements such as cable routing, junction-box access and module replacement.

The system supports component (stick) curtain walls across a 50–100 mm size range, as well as unitised curtain-wall systems. Fully exposed, semi-concealed and fully concealed frame configurations are available. 6063-T5 aluminium is specified for standard architectural sections, while the profile geometry and section depth are engineered according to module dimensions, wind load and support spacing.
