
According to the US Census Bureau data, the United States exported 23,900 tonnes of aluminium plates, sheets and bars to Mexico in April 2021. That was down by 10.88 per cent from 26,500 tonnes of exports in March 2021. In February 2021, the United States exported 21,800 tonnes of aluminium flat rolled products, which was 14.84 per cent down from March and 8.79 per cent down from January 2021.

On a year-on-year calculation, the United States aluminium plates, sheets and bars exports to Mexico in April 2021 edged 29.19 per cent higher than 18,500 tonnes.
In the first four months of the year, the United States aluminium flat rolled products exports to Mexico totalled 96,100 tonnes, up 500 tonnes or 0.52 per cent from 95,600 tonnes during the same period last year.
The United States total aluminium exports (including aluminium crude metals and alloys and aluminium scrap) to Mexico amounted to 49,200 tonnes in April 2021, up 86.37 per cent from 26,400 tonnes during the corresponding period last year.
The United States total aluminium plates, sheets and bars exports in April 2021 stood at 60,000 tonnes – 4,000 tonnes less than 64,000 tonnes in March 2021.
