
Russia’s exports of crude metals and alloys to the US stood at 9,320 tonnes in April 2021, a decrease of 20.34% year-on-year. The Russia had exported 11,700 tonnes to the US in April 2020, according to the latest Mineral Industry Survey report from the US Geological Survey. On a month on month comparison, exports dropped by 47% from 17,500 tonnes exported in March 2021.

Crude metals and alloys exports stood at 48,100 tonnes in the first four months of 2021, as compared to 51,900 tonnes in the first four months of 2020. This marked a decrease of 7% year-on-year.
Russia’s exports of total aluminium (crude metal and alloys, semi-finished products and scrap) to the USA stood at 10,400 tonnes and 53,000 tonnes in April and January-April 2021. That was a drop of 33.33% year-on-year and 0.93% year-on-year, from 12,000 tonnes and 53,500 tonnes.
