The June sales update also showed higher volumes across several of the company’s other product categories. Pig iron sales reached 95,508 tonnes during the month, rising 156.52 per cent year-on-year, while pellet sales increased 92.26 per cent to 155,563 tonnes.

The company’s sales release linked its higher pig iron output to additional blast furnace capacity. A 0.77 million tonnes per annum blast furnace at Jamuria was commissioned in November 2024, followed by a 0.45 million tonnes per annum blast furnace at the Ramsarup facility in December 2025. The company also commissioned the 0.15 million tonnes per annum Phase II of its colour-coated steel plant at Jamuria in April 2026, taking the facility’s total capacity to 0.40 million tonnes per annum.

The latest operational update covers the month and quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company is scheduled to consider its unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q1 FY27 on July 20, 2026, along with a proposal for a first interim dividend and potential fundraising.
