Sanket Deora takes over as Chief Financial Officer following the resignation of Shashank Shekhar Chaturvedi, effective September 3, 2026.
Sampat Aluminium has appointed Sanket Sanjay Deora as its new Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel, marking a change in the aluminium manufacturer's finance leadership.
The company's Board of Directors approved the appointment at a meeting on September 3, 2026, following the resignation of outgoing CFO Shashank Shekhar Chaturvedi.
Chaturvedi stepped down citing pre-occupation and other personal commitments. The company said he confirmed that there were no other material reasons for his resignation and that all dues payable to him had been cleared.

Deora takes over finance leadership
Deora brings a long association with Sampat Aluminium to the role. He has served as a Director at the company since 2008 and has around 16 years of experience in the aluminium manufacturing industry.
His appointment therefore places an existing member of the company's leadership in charge of its finance function rather than bringing in an external CFO.
The regulatory filing also disclosed that Deora is the son of Sanjay Vimalbhai Deora, who serves as a Director at Sampat Aluminium.

New CFO authorised for disclosures
Following the appointment, Deora is among the Key Managerial Personnel authorised to determine materiality and make disclosures under Regulation 30(5) of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015.
He is listed in the filing in both his capacities as Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer, while Company Secretary Bhushan Pramod Puranik is also authorised for the relevant disclosures.
The board meeting began at 4:15 pm and concluded at 5:00 pm on September 3.
