Hydro has announced plans to close its aluminium extrusion plants in City of Industry, California, and Delhi, Louisiana, during 2027. Novelis has commissioned an electric pusher furnace at its aluminium plant in Sierre, Switzerland, marking a new step in the company's decarbonisation plans.
