Hindalco Industries’ aluminium wire rods price drops by INR 4,000/t to INR 214,100/t on June 4
Hindalco Industries Limited has slashed its aluminium products price by INR 4,000 per tonne. With effect from Friday, 04 June 2021, aluminium billets price has reduced by 1.87% to stand at INR 210,100 per tonne from INR 214,100 per tonne on June 02.
The wire rods and aluminium ingots prices stand at INR 214,100 per tonne and INR 203,000 per tonne on Friday, 04 June 2021.That was down INR 4,000 per tonne each from INR 218,100 per tonne and INR 207,000 per tonne.
The Indian aluminium producers generally link prices of its products to the three-month futures of aluminium on London Metal Exchange. The aluminium price on stood at US$ 2386.5 per tonne on Thursday, June 3, down from US$ 2442 per tonne on June 2.
Aluminium operations of the company, excluding those of its US arm Novelis Inc, generally account for nearly half of its total sales and 70% of its operating profit.
