The London Metal Exchange (LME) aluminium price chart posted a modest recovery on the July 20 session after declining on the July 19 trading session. While the pricing segments improved, the three-month benchmark and the inventories declined. The LME aluminium cash bid expanded 0.1 per cent day-on-day on July 20, rising to USD 3,155 per tonne from USD 3,152 per tonne. The London Metal Exchange (LME) aluminium prices eased on July 17, as cash prices, futures contracts and longer-dated contracts all moved lower from the previous session.  LME aluminium inventories also continued to fall, while the Platts alumina price recorded an increase.
