On 26th June’20, representatives of the Lot fire-fighters went to the Diace company in Vayrac, France for the signing of availability agreements.

Diace SAS, an aluminium foundry company, has the distinction of having 5 volunteer fire-fighters out of a workforce of around 100 employees.
Serge Rigal, President of the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service of the Lot (Sdis), accompanied by the top-class colonel Bernard Tachet des Combes, director of the Sdis, Lieutenant-Colonel Olivier Blanco, head of the grouping of territories and Captain Mickaël Desbruères, head of Utis Gourdon, joined by Christian Delrieu, departmental advisor and Loïc Lavergne-Azard, mayor of Vayrac, were welcomed at the company's headquarters.
Matthieu Hede, president of the FMH group, surrounded by Isabelle Echalier, human resources coordinator of the FMH group, Claude Bories, Diace site manager, Stéphanie Favre, administrative and financial director Diace and Marika Dumont, environment security manager (Diace and FMH group), had prepared a presentation of the activities, performances and workforce of the company.
The signing of the availability agreement then took place in the presence of the beneficiary employees. Didier Laval (head of the CIS), Marika Dumont, Mathieu Tronche, Eric Delon and Jacques Gibault, all assigned to the CIS Vayrac-Bétaille.
These agreements make it possible to establish clear rules between employee volunteer fire-fighters and their employer. They notably authorize them, depending on the constraints of the company, to leave their work station to bring help.
Very attached to the support and sustainability of the public fire and rescue service, Matthieu Hède underlined the added value that the presence of this personnel represented for him within the company. Position greeted by President Rigal who thanked the manager for his involvement in this civic initiative.
All participants then followed a guided and commented tour of the site.
