Ernst & Young appointed as the new auditor for Canyon Resources
Canyon Resources has appointed Ernst & Young as its new external auditor, in place of HLB Mann Judd. This appointment has been conducted after the board of the company decided to change the previous auditor after a formal review and approval from the regulators.

Canyon Resources has chosen one of the Big Four firms as the company is expanding its operational base and it tends to start its initial phase of bauxite production. This change shows that the company is moving towards strengthening its corporate governance and financial reporting structure, which would be beneficial to handle all its operational bases.
Although the auditor has already been appointed, the decision will be formally approved at the next Annual General Meeting (AGM).
