
After hiking for the last three days exceeding RMB 24,000 per tonne, A00 aluminium ingot price in China has recorded a sharp fall of RMB 1,120 per tonne to come at the level of RMB 23,000 per tonne. According to the Shanghai Metals Market data, A00 aluminium ingot price has settled at RMB 23,120 per tonne on Wednesday, October 20. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 23,100 per tonne and RMB 23,140 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 160-120 per tonne.

In Linyi and Tianjin, primary aluminium ingot price has decreased by RMB 1,150 per tonne and RMB 1,140 per tonne to stand at RMB 23,000 per tonne and RMB 23,050 per tonne, respectively. In Foshan and Wuxi, the price has plunged by RMB 1,130 per tonne and RMB 1,125 per tonne to peg at RMB 23,110 per tonne and RMB 23,090 per tonne.
Aluminium alloy (A356) price has also plummeted by RMB 1,100 per tonne to stand at RMB 27,250 per tonne on October 19, found SMM. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 27,200 per tonne and RMB 27,300 per tonne.

Aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have shrunk by RMB 500 per tonne to RMB 24,050 per tonne and RMB 25,250 per tonne, respectively.
On the other hand, the average alumina spot price in China has registered an increase of RMB 7 per tonne to stand at RMB 4,091 per tonne on October 20. In Guangxi and Guizhou, alumina price has grown by RMB 15 per tonne and RMB 10 per tonne to stand at RMB 3,890 per tonne and RMB 3,975 per tonne, while the price in Henan and Shanxi has gained RMB 5 per tonne to close at RMB 4,120 per tonne.
