LME aluminium price descends by 0.12% to US$3,176/t; SHFE price decreases by US$125

Three-month LME aluminium closed at US$3,170 per tonne, down 0.16 percent.

LME aluminium cash (bid) price descended by US$3.5 or by 0.11 percent to close at US$3,175.50 per tonne. LME aluminium official settlement price decreased by US$4 or by 0.12 percent to total at US$3,176 per tonne. 3-month bid price and 3-month offer price was recorded at US$3,194 per tonne and US$3,195 per tonne. December 22 bid price stood at US$3,048 per tonne and the offer price for the same day was found to be US$3,053 per tonne.

LME aluminium opening stock for October 19 closed at 1103275 tonnes. Live warrants for the same day settled at 625250 tonnes and cancelled warrants closed at 478025 tonnes.

LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price for Tuesday, October 19, totalled at US$3204.64 per tonne.

SHFE Aluminium Price Trend

On Tuesday, October 19, benchmark aluminium price for SHFE descended by US$125 to settle at US$3,666 per tonne.

The most-traded SHFE 2111 aluminium closed up RMB 30 per tonne to RMB 24340 per tonne, with open interest down 16535 lots to 155646 lots.
