Bauxite Angola looks for new shareholders

Macauhub News Agency reports that António, who gave the information to Angolan news agency Angop, said that finding new shareholders was one of the reasons that the company had taken part in the Angolan International Mining Fair (FIMA) in the Angolan capital.
António added that the company had made use of the fair to publicise its mining operations and investments in a number of areas. It had mining rights for bauxite in Guinea Bissau, as well as concessions for bauxite prospecting in Angola and Guinea Conakry.
Another technician from the company, engineer Manuel Valentim, said that indications of bauxite had been found in the provinces of Zaire, Uíge and Guilherme. He added that geological studies were underway that needed to be complemented with chemical and mineral tests. These would later be cross-referenced with satellite images and followed up with drilling and surveying.
“Only after those phases are concluded will it be possible to confirm the feasibility of a mining operation,” he noted.
Bauxite Angola is an Angolan company with private and state investors and was founded on 15 May, 2007.
