Arrow Minerals Limited has been granted a new three-year Industrial Exploration Permit for its Niagara Bauxite Project in Guinea following a government review of the company's historical work and operational capabilities.

The permit, issued by Guinea's Ministry of Mines and Geology on July 15, 2026, covers 499.61 square kilometres and is identical in area and boundaries to the company's previous exploration licence. It was awarded to Arrow's wholly owned subsidiary, Mineralfields Bauxite SARLU.

The company said the permit followed the Guinean government's review of its exploration activities, operational capacity and ability to advance the project in line with the country's Mining Code.

Managing Director David Flanagan said the new licence covers the mineralised plateaux hosting the previously reported Niagara Mineral Resource and marks the completion of the government's regulatory review process.

As part of the permit conditions, Arrow must spend a minimum of USD 1.51 million over the three-year licence period and begin exploration activities within six months of the permit grant. The company has also paid approximately USD 14,000 in permit-related fees and taxes.

Arrow said planning is already underway for additional fieldwork at the project to meet the exploration commitments while progressing resource development. The permit also provides the option of two additional renewal terms of up to two years each, subject to regulatory approval.

The company confirmed that the previously announced Mineral Resource estimate for Niagara, released in March 2025, remains valid because the new permit covers the same area as the previous licence. Arrow added that it is not aware of any new information that would materially affect the existing resource estimate.

Following the permit award, the company will move towards completing its amended agreement to acquire the Niagara Bauxite Project. Arrow first announced the acquisition in August 2024, with amendments made in July 2025.

Arrow Minerals is an Australian exploration and development company focused on Guinea, where it is advancing both the Niagara Bauxite Project and the Simandou North Iron Project.

The company noted that its operations remain subject to regulatory and sovereign risks associated with mining activities in Guinea. However, it said it continues to work closely with government authorities while planning further exploration programmes at Niagara.

Located in one of the world's leading bauxite-producing countries, the Niagara project is being evaluated for its direct shipping ore (DSO) potential, which could support lower-cost development and supply bauxite to the global aluminium industry.
