A00 aluminium ingot price nosedives by RMB400/t to stand at RMB22920/t; Aluminium alloy(A356) price closes lower at RMB26900/t

A00 aluminium ingot price has nosedived by RMB 400 per tonne on Friday, September 24, after hiking by RMB 500 per tonne on the previous day. According to the Shanghai Metals Market, the price has thus come in at RMB 22,920 per tonne, with average prices expected to range between RMB 22,900 per tonne and RMB 22,940 per tonne. The spot contract is likely to be traded at a premium price of RMB 20-20 per tonne.

In Wuxi and Hangzhou, A00 aluminium ingot price has plunged by RMB 405 per tonne to stand at RMB 22,920 per tonne and RMB 22,925 per tonne, respectively, while the price in Foshan has decreased by RMB 400 per tonne to peg at RMB 22,950 per tonne, found SMM. Primary aluminium ingot price in Shenyang is also standing at RMB 22,925 per tonne but by losing RMB 375 per tonne.  In Gongyi and Tianjin, the primary metal price has reduced by RMB 380 per tonne and RMB 370 per tonne to close at RMB 22,760 per tonne and RMB 22,920 per tonne, respectively.

Aluminium alloy (A356) price has also dwindled by RMB 400 per tonne to stand at RMB 26,900 per tonne on Friday, September 24. The average prices are likely to range between RMB 26,850 per tonne and RMB 26,950 per tonne.

Aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have, however, remained restrained at RMB 24,650 per tonne and RMB 25,850 per tonne, respectively.

Among primary aluminium input costs, aluminium powder price has inched down by RMB 0.40 per kg to stand at RMB 26.50 per kg. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 26.45 per kg and RMB 26.55 per kg.
