US UBC recycling slips for 2nd consecutive month

Aluminum used beverage can (UBC) recycling rates dropped for a second consecutive month in September, even as collection volumes exceeded levels seen in the same month last year.
UBC reclamation totaled 130.6 million pounds in September, down 0.6 percent from 131.4 million pounds.
