The United Arab Emirates exports of crude metals and alloys to the US stood at 31,200 tonnes in March 2021 an increase of 52.94% year-on-year. The UAE had exported 20,400 tonnes to the US in March 2020, according to the latest Mineral Industry Survey report from the US Geological Survey. On a monthly basis, crude metal and alloys imports rose 19.54% from February’s imports of 26,100 tonnes.
The United Arab Emirates exported 77,800 tonnes of crude metal and alloys in January-March 2021, from 45,400 tonnes exported in January- March 2020. That was up 72.12% or 32,600 tonnes year-on-year.
The UAE’s exports of crude metals and alloys, semi-finished products and scrap came in 78,200 tonnes in the first three months of 2021. That recorded an increase of 71.87% year-on-year. The UAE had exported 45,500 tonnes of crude metals and alloys, semi-finished products and scrap in the first three months of 2021.
