Bahrain exported 9,770 tonnes of crude metals and alloys to the US in March 2021, from 8,800 tonnes exported in February 2021, reflecting a growth of 11.02% month-on-month, according to the latest Mineral Industry Survey report from US Geological Survey. On a yearly basis, exports jumped from 299 tonnes in March 2020.
Bahrain exported 30,700 tonnes of crude metals and alloys in the first three months of 2021. Total exports were 323 tonnes in the first three months of 2020.
Exports of aluminium semi-finished products (plates, sheets, bars, etc.), crude metal and alloys and scrap to the US stood at 14,400 tonnes in March 2021, from 10,660 tonnes in February 2021. Exports climbed by 35.85% month-on-month. Total exports in the first three months of 2021 came in at 37,200 tonnes.
