Redwave to showcase its aluminium recycling expertise

Recycling technology specialist Redwave of Austria is to throw open the doors of its headquarters to customers and industry experts from around the globe on September 30 and October 1.
The event is being described by Redwave as ‘the best opportunity to stay on top of new developments in the field of scrap metal and aluminium recycling’, and will feature the company’s latest innovations. There will also be presentations from experts representing different sectors of the scrap metal and aluminium recycling industry.
In addition, visitors will have the opportunity to witness live demonstrations, including of the new-generation Redwave XRF sorting machine.
The REDWAVE XRF-M analyses and evaluates materials including aluminium scrap according to chemical composition. Unwanted parts are reliably detected and sorted.
In contrast to other technologies, moisture, colour and surface impurities have no negative effect on the detection ability. This technology can be used in sorting processes to recognise an accumulation of element characteristics, including the detection of undesired materials. Separation of various aluminium groups is one of the prime applications of the REDWAVE XRF-M technology.
