Recycling weekly: Found Energy develops hydrogen-producing technology from aluminium scrap

EDITED BY : 3MINS READ

Found Energy has created a revolutionary technology that oxidises aluminium with water, transforming stored energy into hydrogen and heat. This novel procedure can work with low-grade and polluted aluminium trash. Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Waste Partnership (RECAP) launched a new 'MetalMatters' campaign to encourage metal packaging recycling in the area. #InTheLoopGM, a new campaign emphasising the need for a "circular economy," has been launched in Great Manchester by the Recycle for Greater Manchester (R4GM) organisation, encouraging residents to recycle items such as aluminium cans, jars, and so on at home, as well as reuse and repair wherever possible. Orbex has launched the world's first marketplace for trading globally certified recycled metals to foster a circular economy.
