Average alumina spot in China registers at RMB 3,305/t; A00 aluminium ingot price hikes by RMB 300/t

According to the Shanghai Metals Market, on Tuesday, February 22, the average alumina spot price has remained restrained to settle at US$3,305 per tonne. The price has remained the same since Wednesday, February 16.

The price in provinces like Shandong and Henan has also remained constant to score at RMB 3,300 per tonne and RMB 3,320 per tonne. In Shanxi and Guizhou as well the price has remained the same to peg at RMB 3,310 per tonne and RMB 3,300 per tonne. The average alumina spot price in Guangxi and Lianyungang has been recorded at RMB 3,190 per tonne and RMB 3,125 per tonne. In Bayuquan as well the price has remained the same to total at RMB 3,250 per tonne.

The Australian alumina FOB price has remained unchanged to settle at US$429 per tonne.

According to the Shanghai Metals Market, the A00 aluminium ingot price has escalated by RMB 300 per tonne to come in at RMB 22,930 per tonne. The average prices are likely to hover between RMB 22,910 per tonne and RMB 22,950 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 60-20 per tonne.

In Shenyang and Tianjin, the price has ascended by RMB 280 per tonne to settle at RMB 22,880 per tonne, respectively. In Linyi, the price has escalated by RMB 260 per tonne to come in at RMB 22,880 per tonne, for the same day. The A00 aluminium ingot price in Gongyi and Foshan has increased by RMB 280 per tonne and RMB 320 per tonne, to close at RMB 22,730 per tonne and RMB 22,980 per tonne. In Wuxi and Hangzhou, the price has climbed up by RMB 330 per tonne to register at RMB 22,915 per tonne and RMB 22,920 per tonne. In Chongqing also the price has grown by RMB 310 per tonne to record at RMB 22,850 per tonne.

The aluminium alloy price has also grown as of Tuesday, February 22. According to the Shanghai Metals Market, the (ADC12) price has hiked by RMB 150 per tonne to settle at RMB 22,450 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to range between RMB 22,350 per tonne and RMB 22,550 per tonne.

The aluminium alloy (A356) price has also surged by RMB 300 per tonne to score at RMB 24,250 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to range between RMB 24,150 per tonne and RMB 24,350 per tonne.

The aluminium alloy (A380) price has moved up by RMB 150 per tonne to come in at RMB 23,650 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to hover between RMB 23,550 per tonne and RMB 23,750 per tonne.
