North American aluminium scrap prices plateau on Index on Jan 4, 2017

<p>Aluminium scrap prices in North America plateaued on ScrapMonster Price Index on January 4, Wednesday. 1100 Scrap prices showed no change through the day. The prices of 3003 aluminium scrap too remained flat at US$0.58 per lb. <br /><br />The prices of 6063 Extrusions, 6063 Extrusions/Fe, 356 Aluminium Wheels also held strong to their grounds over the trading day at ScrapMonster Price Index. <br /><br /><img style="vertical-align: middle; display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="http://www.alcircle.com/uploads/images/aluminum-scraps-351993.jpg" alt="News" width="517" height="226" /><br />In the meantime, prices of 6061 Extrusions and 5052 Scrap were reported unchanged at US$0.53 per Lb and US$0.55 per Lb respectively. EC Aluminium wire prices, Aluminium Radiators and Aluminium Radiators/Fe prices registered zero change. Aluminium Transformers and Breakage 50% Recovery prices remained flat on the second trading day of the New Year.<br /><br />{googleAdsense}<br /><br />Other future contracts that showed zero change in prices were Mixed Aluminium Turnings, Old Cast and UBC. MLC Clips and Litho Sheets remained flat at $0.55 per Lb and $0.59 per Lb respectively.</p>
