
According to the latest PMI data, it signalled rapid growth of the Italian private sector economy during July, as the Covid-19 restrictions were untightened and sustained boost to client demand across manufacturing, services and construction, while the latter also received added benefit from government eco- and super-bonus tax relief schemes.

The second-largest industrial manufacturer in the European Union, Italy exported 784, 537 tonnes of aluminium plates, sheets and strips during 2018-20 and the revenue sourced from the export accounted for $2.06 billion.
Italy exported 123,377 tonnes of aluminium plates, sheets and strips in 2018 and the earnings occurred from the export was $367.46 million, whereas, in 2019, the export saw an enterprising growth by 186%, as the export volume sparked to 352,858 tonnes and the earnings surged to $954.32 million.

In 2020, Italy’s export of aluminium plates, sheets and strips was registered at 308,302 tonnes, a drop of 12.62% and the earnings also plunged to $739.23 million.
The export for 2021is analysed with a further downswing of 5.10%, as the export volume is expected to slide at 292,552 tonnes and the earnings also to stand at $686.48 million.
The major trading destination for the Italian export of aluminium plates, sheets and strips are Albania, Algeria, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Chile, Czech Rep., Croatia, Denmark, Egypt, etc.
