
According to the Economic Complexity Index, the economy of Hungary is a high-income mixed economy and it ranked as the 9th most complex economy. The country executed multiple reforms such as the privatization of businesses that were once state-owned and initiated to slash funding to social programs as well. Although living conditions were downgrading, Hungary was able to enhance these conditions with its policy implementations and growing exports.

One of the most prosperous and best-developed nations in Central and Eastern Europe, Hungary recorded exportation of 8645 tonnes of aluminium tubes and pipes during 2018-20 and the earnings that occurred from the export counted to $35.01 million. Aluminium tubes are majorly used for their lightweight, electrical and thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance features, while the pipe is a machined part for all types of industrial projects.
Hungary’s export of aluminium tubes and pipes in 2018 was registered at 1209 tonnes and the earnings incurred from the export accounted for $5.13 million, whereas, in 2019, the export manifested a robust upsurge with 3719 tonnes, a growth of 207.60% and the earnings jacked up to $16.70 million.

In 2020, the export of aluminium tubes and pipes by Hungary reflected a negligible dip of 0.05%, as the export volume dropped to 3717 tonnes, while the earnings plunged to $13.18 million.
The export for 2021 is analysed with an enterprising growth of 52.05%, as the export volume is expected to rise at 5652 tonnes and the earnings to climb at $19.84 million.
The major trading destination for Hungary’s export of aluminium tubes and pipes are Argentina, Australia, Croatia, Czech Rep., Denmark, France, Germany, India, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, etc.
