Hindalco Industries raises its aluminium billets price by INR 2,000/t on June 10
Hindalco Industries Limited has hiked its aluminium products price by INR 2,000 per tonne. With effect from Thursday, 10 June 2021, aluminium billets price stands at INR 215,600 per tonne, up 0.94% from INR 213,600 per tonne on June 9.
The wire rods and aluminium ingots prices have increased by INR 2,000 per tonne each on Thursday, 10 June 2021. The prices have come in at INR 219,600 per tonne and INR 208,500 per tonne, from INR 217,600 per tonne and INR 206,500 per tonne on June 9.
The Indian aluminium producers generally link prices of its products to the three-month futures of aluminium on London Metal Exchange. The aluminium price on stood at US$ 2459 per tonne on Wednesday, June 9, up US$ 20 per tonne from US$ 2439 per tonne on June 8.
Aluminium operations of the company, excluding those of its US arm Novelis Inc, generally account for nearly half of its total sales and 70% of its operating profit.
