Hindalco Industries’ aluminium billets price stands at INR 217,600/t

Hindalco Industries Limited has continued to increase its aluminium products price. With effect from Saturday, 12 June 2021, aluminium billets price stands at INR 217,600 per tonne. This marks an increase of up 0.93% or INR 2,000 per tonne from INR 215,600 per tonne on June 10.

The wire rods and aluminium ingots prices have risen by INR 2,000 per tonne each on Saturday, 12 June 2021. The prices stand at INR 221,600 per tonne and INR 210,500 per tonne, from INR 219,600 per tonne and INR 208,500 per tonne on June 10.

The Indian aluminium producers generally link prices of its products to the three-month futures of aluminium on London Metal Exchange. The aluminium price on stood at US$ 2504 per tonne on Monday, June 14, up US$ 14 per tonne from US$ 2490 per tonne on June 11.

Aluminium operations of the company, excluding those of its US arm Novelis Inc, generally account for nearly half of its total sales and 70% of its operating profit.
