
After hiking for the seven consecutive days, A00 aluminium ingot price has trended down by RMB 80 on Tuesday, November 17, to stand at RMB 15,590 per tonne, found the Shanghai Metals Market. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 15,570 per tonne and RMB 15,610 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 160-200 per tonne, up by RMB 180 per tonne.

In Gongyi, A00 aluminium ingot price has slumped by RMB 90 per tonne to come in at RMB 15,450 per tonne, followed by the downfall of RMB 80 per tonne in Foshan and Wuxi to peg at RMB 15,590 per tonne and RMB 15,600 per tonne, respectively. In Chongqing, primary aluminium price has declined by RMB 70 per tonne to RMB 15,520 per tonne, while that in Shenyang and Hangzhou has dwindled by RMB 65 per tonne and RMB 60 per tonne, respectively, to come in at RMB 15,540 per tonne and RMB 15,620 per tonne. In Tianjin and Linyi, A00 aluminium ingot price has dropped by RMB 40 per tonne and RMB 30 per tonne to RMB 15,570 per tonne and RMB 15,590 per tonne, respectively.
The price of aluminium alloy (A356) has declined by RMB 100 per tonne to RMB 16,250 per tonne, following six consecutive days of rise from RMB 15,700 per tonne to RMB 16,350 per tonne. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 16,200 per tonne and RMB 16,300 per tonne.

As far as aluminium input costs are concerned, none has recorded any change except aluminium powder. The price of aluminium powder has dipped by RMB 0.10 per kg to stand at RMB 19.15 per kg. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 19.1 per kg and RMB 19.2 per kg.
