Three-month LME aluminium increased slightly higher on Monday; SHFE aluminium slid 0.32%
Three-month LME aluminium rose 0.96% to close at US$1,953 per tonne on Monday, with open interest rising to 750,000 lots. SMM expects the contract to trade between US$1,930-1,980 per tonne today.
As of Monday November 16, LME aluminium cash (bid) price stands at US$ 1933 per tonne, LME official settlement price stands at US$ 1933 per tonne; 3-months bid price stands at US$ 1946.50 per tonne, 3-months offer price is US$ 1946.50per tonne; Dec 21 bid price stands at US$ 1978.50 per tonne, and Dec 21 offer price stands at US$ 1978.50 per tonne.
The LME aluminium opening stock stood at 1413775 tonnes. Live Warrants totalled 1256925 tonnes, and Cancelled Warrants were 156850 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-months Asian Reference Price is hovering at US$ 1941.77per tonne.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
Benchmark aluminium price for SHFE decreased to stand at US$ 2340 per tonne on Tuesday, 17 November 2020.
The most-liquid SHFE 2012 aluminium contract declined 0.32% on the day to end at RMB15,390 per tonne on Monday, with trading volume rising 13,032 lots to 153,000 lots.
The contract slid 0.23% to settle at RMB15,355 per tonne on Monday night. It likely to trade between 15,200-15,600 per tonne today.
