
Iran's production of aluminium ingots stood at 247,335 tonnes during the first seven months of the current Iranian calendar year (20 March-21 October). That was up 69 per cent compared with the same period last year.

Aluminium ingot output rose by 56 per cent in the seventh month of this year. The production came in at 35,556 tonnes.
Production of the aluminium ingot in Iran is likely to grow by 63 per cent by the end of the current Iranian calendar year (March 20, 2021).
Iran has an estimated aluminium nameplate capacity of 457,000 tonnes per year. The country now aims at increasing its annual aluminium output to more than 800,000 tonnes by March 2022 and to 1.5 million tonnes by 2025.
