Hydro named in Dow Jones Sustainability World Index
Hydro announced that it has been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index. The company is the only aluminium company on the list for 2020. This is the 22nd year in a row that that Hydro is included in the DJSI series.
“I am very pleased to see that Hydro’s effort to act on our values and targets throughout the organization is valued by DJSI," said Kirsten Margrethe Hovi, Head of Extra-Financial Reporting in Hydro.
Hydro’s total score on 2020’s ranking is 69%, up from 63% in 2019 and 67% in 2018.
“The DJSI ranking is an important benchmark tool for us, where we are assessed and measured against other companies. We get confirmation if we are on the right track and it makes areas where we can improve visible to us,” Hovi said.
