
A00 aluminium ingot price in China has nosedived by RMB 1,140 per tonne to come below RMB 20,000 per tonne on October 28. According to the Shanghai Metals Market, the price is standing at RMB 19,340 per tonne, with average prices likely to range between RMB 19,320 per tonne and RMB 19,360 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 70-30 per tonne, up by RMB 30 per tonne from the previous day.

In Shenyang, the primary aluminium ingot price has plummeted by RMB 1,055 per tonne to stand at RMB 19,490 per tonne, while the price in Foshan and Chongqing has plunged by RMB 1,050 per tonne to come in at RMB 19,340 per tonne and RMB 19,330 per tonne, respectively. In Hangzhou, A00 aluminium ingot price has seen a decrease of RMB 1,145 per tonne to RMB 19,335 per tonne, and the price in Wuxi and Linyi has moved down to RMB 19,340 per tonne and RMB 19,440 per tonne.
Aluminium alloy (A356) price has also recorded a sharp fall in China on October 28. SMM data shows the price has plunged by RMB 1,100 per tonne to settle at RMB 22,850 per tonne, with average prices likely to range between RMB 22,800 per tonne and RMB 22,900 per tonne.

Aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have decreased by RMB 700 per tonne to close at RMB 21,800 per tonne and RMB 23,000 per tonne on October 28, found SMM.
Among primary aluminium input costs, aluminium powder price has dipped by RMB 1.1 per kg to stand at RMB 22.25 per kg, with average prices estimated to range between RMB 22.20 per kg and RMB 22.30 per kg.
