Bauxite exploration depends on location of useful reserves
This was said on Saturday in Luanda by the chairperson of the investment and mining society “Bauxite Angola”, Bernardo Campos, under the workshop on “The Bauxite and Aluminium importance for Sustainable Development” in the Angolan International Mining Fair.
Bernardo Campos said that campaign has been already conducted in four areas.
According to him, these areas are located in the regions of Calulu, Catanda, both in Kwanza Sul province, as well as Tomboco (Zaire) and Quitexe (Uíge).
He said that experts are conducting studies in each region to find if there are minerals.
The exploration in those areas might happen within next three years, where infrastructure such as port and railway-station are constructed.
