Bauxite (6.5≤Al/Si＜7.5) price in Guizhou surges by RMB105/t; A00 aluminium ingot price settles higher at RMB20630/t

According to the Shanghai Metals Market, Bauxite (6.5≤Al/Si＜7.5) price in Guizhou has jumped by RMB 105 per tonne to reach RMB 475 per tonne on Friday, August 27, found the Shanghai Metals Market. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 450-500 per tonne.

Bauxite (6.5≤Al/Si＜7.5) price in Guangxi and bauxite ((6.0≤Al/Si＜7.0) price in Henan have climbed by RMB 55 per tonne and RMB 500 per tonne to settle at RMB 345 per tonne and RMB 570 per tonne, respectively. The average prices are likely to range between RMB 330-360 per tonne and RMB 540-600 per tonne.

Among other primary aluminium input costs, aluminium powder price has inched up by RMB 0.10 per kg to close the week at RMB 24.15 per tonne, with average prices likely to range between RMB 24.10-24.20 per kg, learned SMM.

A00 aluminium ingot price has gained RMB 90 per tonne to peg at RMB 20,630 per tonne on August 27, following a decrease in the previous day by RMB 60 per tonne. According to SMM, the average prices are expected to range between RMB 20,610 per tonne and RMB 20,650 per tonne, with spot contract likely to be traded at a premium price of RMB 30-10 per tonne.

A00 aluminium ingot price settles higher at RMB20630/t

In Hangzhou, primary aluminium ingot price has witnessed a hike of RMB 125 per tonne to RMB 20,655 per tonne, followed by an increase of RMB 110 per tonne in Shenyang to RMB 20,610 per tonne. In Tianjin and Linyi, A00 aluminium ingot price has climbed by RMB 100 per tonne to stand at RMB 20,590 per tonne, while the price in Wuxi has grown by RMB 95 per tonne to settle at RMB 20,620 per tonne as of August 27.

Aluminium alloys prices have also seen a growth of RMB 100 per tonne, bringing aluminium alloys (ADC12) price to RMB 20,250 per tonne, aluminium alloy (A356) price to RMB 21,250 per tonne, and aluminium alloy (A380) price to RMB 21,450 per tonne.
