
A00 aluminium ingot price in China has extended its growth for the third day in a row to reach RMB 24,240 per tonne on October 19. According to the Shanghai Metals Market, the price has grown by RMB 140 per tonne. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 24,220 per tonne and RMB 24,260 per tonne, with spot contract likely to be traded at a premium price of RMB 140-100 per tonne.

In Tianjin and Linyi, A00 aluminium ingot price has hiked by RMB 180 per tonne to stand at RMB 22,800 per tonne. The price in Gongyi has also increased by RMB 180 per tonne to come in at RMB 22,660 per tonne. In Shenyang and Chongqing, primary aluminium ingot price has increased by RMB 155 per tonne and RMB 145 per tonne, respectively to close at RMB 24,190 per tonne, while the price in Foshan and Tianjin has climbed by RMB 140 per tonne to stand at RMB 24,240 per tonne and RMB 24,190 per tonne.
Aluminium alloy (A356) price has gained RMB 100 per tonne to settle at RMB 28,350 per tonne on Tuesday, October 19, learned SMM. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 28,300 per tonne and RMB 28,400 per tonne.

However, aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have remained restrained at RMB 24,550 per tonne and RMB 25,750 per tonne, respectively.
Among primary aluminium input costs, caustic soda (32% concentration) price in Shandong has increased by RMB 65 per tonne to stand at RMB 1,565 per tonne on October 19. The average prices are likely to range between RMB 1,380-1,750 per tonne.
Caustic soda (32% concentration) price in Henan and Shanxi has expanded by RMB 100 per tonne to close at RMB 5,000 per tonne and RMB 5,100 per tonne, respectively.
