LME aluminium price ascends by 0.53% to US$3,180/t; SHFE price increases by US$54
Three-month LME aluminium closed at US$3,170 per tonne, down 0.16 percent.
On Monday, October 18, both LME aluminium cash (bid) price and LME aluminium official settlement price increased by US$17 or by 0.53 percent to settle at US$3,179 per tonne and US$3,180 per tonne. 3-month bid price and 3-month offer price settled at US$3,198 per tonne and US$3,200 per tonne. December 22 bid price was recorded at US$3,040 per tonne and the offer price for the same day totalled at US$3,045 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock for October 18 settled at 1111525 tonnes. Live warrants for the same day totalled at 625250 tonnes and cancelled warrants stood at 486275 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price for Monday, October 18, totalled at US$3220.88 per tonne.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
On Tuesday, October 19, benchmark aluminium price for SHFE soared up by US$54 to settle at US$3,791 per tonne.
The most-traded SHFE 2111 aluminium closed up RMB 910 per tonne to RMB 24695 per tonne, with open interest down 18933 lots to 172374 lots.
The most-traded SHFE 2111 aluminium contract closed at RMB 24,305 per tonne, down RMB 390 per tonne, or 1.58 percent.
