
A00 aluminium ingot price in China has touched a new milestone by exceeding RMB 24,000 per tonne, found the Shanghai Metals Market. On Monday, October 18, the price has jumped by RMB 450 per tonne to come in at RMB 24,100 per tonne. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 24,080 per tonne and RMB 24,120 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 100-60 per tonne.

In Foshan, primary aluminium ingot price has also increased by RMB 450 per tonne to stand at RMB 24,100 per tonne, followed by the surge of RMB 430 per tonne in Gongyi to RMB 23,920 per tonne. In Tianjin and Linyi, A00 aluminium ingot price has climbed by RMB 410 per tonne and RMB 380 per tonne to come in at RMB 24,050 per tonne and RMB 24,020 per tonne, while the price in Wuxi and Chongqing has hiked by RMB 335 per tonne and RMB 330 per tonne to stand at RMB 24,100 per tonne and RMB 24,045 per tonne, respectively.
Aluminium alloy (A356) price has soared by RMB 500 per tonne to stand as high as RMB 28,250 per tonne on October 18. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 28,200 per tonne and RMB 28,300 per tonne.

Aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have grown by RMB 100 per tonne to reach at RMB 24,550 per tonne and RMB 25,750 per tonne, respectively.
Among primary aluminium input costs, the average alumina spot price has gained RMB 11 per tonne to settle at RMB 4,084 per tonne on October 18, learned SMM. In Shandong, alumina price has sharply increased by RMB 65 per tonne to stand at RMB 4,090 per tonne, while the price in Henan ad Shanxi has climbed by RMB 40 per tonne to close at RMB 4,115 per tonne.
Bauxite (4.5≤Al/Si<5.5) price in Shanxi has climbed by RMB 10 per tonne to stand at RMB 505 per tonne. The average prices are likely to hover around RMB 490-520 per tonne.
