SMM A00 aluminium ingot price plunges by RMB170/t to RMB19240/t; High-purity aluminium price sheds RMB200/t

The Shanghai Metals Market on September 5 experienced declining aluminium prices all over China, with the SMM A00 aluminium ingot price diving down by RMB 170 per tonne to officially close at RMB 19,240 per tonne. The average prices have circled between RMB 19,220 per tonne and RMB 19,260 per tonne.

China’s eight major provinces have all shown falling prices today, with the aluminium ingot price stooping the highest in Chongqing by RMB 190 per tonne, to stop at RMB 19,190 per tonne, followed by a similar aluminium rate in Shenyang, where the price dropped by RMB 170 per tonne. In Foshan, the aluminium price has plunged by RMB 180 per tonne to officially close at RMB 19,040 per tonne. Other than that, in Hangzhou, Tianjin and Linyi, the aluminium prices have plummeted by RMB 170 per tonne to finally settle at RMB 19,240 per tonne, RMB 19,290 per tonne and RMB 19,240 per tonne, respectively. In Wuxi, the aluminium ingot price has slumped by RMB 150 per tonne to anchor at RMB 19,240 per tonne. Lastly, in Gongyi, the aluminium price has decreased by RMB 140 per tonne to close at RMB 19,130 per tonne.

The low-carbon aluminium price in China has plummeted by RMB 181 per tonne to close at RMB 19,751 per tonne.

The high-purity aluminium price (99.99%) and the high-purity aluminium price (99.996%) have negated RMB 200 per tonne to park at RMB 26,700 per tonne and RMB 27,700 per tonne.

The price of aluminium alloy (A356) has contracted by RMB 200 per tonne, officially closing at RMB 19,850 per tonne, and the price of aluminium alloy (A360) has lost RMB 150 per tonne, halting at RMB 20,150 per tonne. The price of aluminium alloys (ADC12) has shed RMB 100 per tonne, clocking at RMB 19,450 per tonne.

China’s aluminium powder price has released RMB 0.20 per kg to close at RMB 21 per kg, with average prices ranging between RMB 20.90 per kg and RMB 21.10 per kg.
