SMM A00 aluminium ingot price soars by RMB160/t; Average alumina spot price adds RMB1/t
On September 7, the Shanghai Metals Market witnessed escalating aluminium prices all over China, with the SMM A00 aluminium ingot price heightening by RMB 160 per tonne to officially close at RMB 19,470 per tonne. The average prices have circled between RMB 19,450 per tonne and RMB 19,490 per tonne.
China’s eight major provinces have all experienced an increase in aluminium prices today, with the highest spike of RMB 180 per tonne marked in Wuxi, where the price clocked at RMB 19,500 per tonne. In regions like Gongyi, Foshan, Hangzhou, and Linyi, the aluminium ingot prices have soared by RMB 160 per tonne, settling at RMB 19,380 per tonne, RMB 19,250 per tonne, and the last two at RMB 19,470 per tonne. In Shenyang, the aluminium price has levitated by RMB 150 per tonne to officially stop at RMB 19,400 per tonne, followed by RMB 130 per tonne hike in Tianjin, with the price stopping at RMB 19,420 per tonne. Lastly, in Chongqing, the aluminium price has ascended by RMB 90 per tonne to close at RMB 19,360 per tonne.
The high-purity aluminium price (99.99%) and the high-purity aluminium price (99.996%) have gained RMB 100 per tonne to park at RMB 26,900 per tonne and RMB 27,900 per tonne.
The average alumina spot price in China has increased by RMB 1 per tonne, officially closing at RMB 2,934 per tonne. Alumina price in Guizhou has gone up the graph by RMB 10 per tonne to stop at RMB 2,925 per tonne. In Guangxi, the alumina spot price has gained RMB 5 per tonne to rest at RMB 2,935 per tonne.
The price of aluminium alloy (A356) and the price of aluminium alloy (A360) have escalated by RMB 150 per tonne, officially closing at RMB 20,100 per tonne and RMB 20,350 per tonne, respectively. The price of aluminium alloys (ADC12) has added RMB 100 per tonne, clocking at RMB 19,550 per tonne.
The aluminium powder price in China has jumped RMB 0.20 per kg up to close at RMB 21.30 per kg, with average prices circulating between RMB 21.20 per tonne and RMB 21.40 per tonne.
