Secondary aluminium ingot producer Metalcorp posts strong earnings growth for FY2016

<p>Metalcorp Group B.V., one of the leading manufacturers of secondary aluminium ingots in Europe, posted impressive growth across all consolidated earnings figures for the fiscal year ended 31 December 2016. The company's profit margin remains constant in back-to-back transactions requiring no stock-keeping as it keeps adhering to its risk-averse business model. <br /><br />Metalcorp, headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands, specializes in the global physical trade of steel and non-ferrous metals such as aluminium. Consolidated EBIT of the company rose 35.2 per cent to EUR 9.9 million from EUR 7.3 million a year ago. <br /><br />According to the preliminary figures released, the Group&rsquo;s total assets increased to EUR 336.3 million in 2016 from EUR 267.3 million in the previous year.
