
SBDT (Société des Bauxites de Dabola–Tougué) company established and located in Republic of Guinea (Conakry) has put up an announcement in relation to operational requirements for their Leguetera bauxite mine in Dabola. Guinea’s Société des Bauxites de Dabola-Tougue (SBDT) is constructing a bauxite mine that would allow it to exploit its large, untapped reserves of bauxite in Dabola.
The company has put up a call for quality evaluation of EPC+F/EPCF contractors to participate in an international tendering for transferring Bauxite Ore through pipeline from the Leguetera mine to the port in Republic of Guinea.

1. Bauxite mine engineering design and supply of equipment for the Leguetera mine in Dabola.
2. Engineering design, supply of machinery and construction works of a project for production of 6 million tons bauxite
3. Transferring as slurry ( bauxite residue) through pipeline. The transfer of slurry will mainly cover the following responsibilities:
The company requests company or companies who are interested to take part in the tender individually or as consortium to apply with relevant documents. Interested organizations are required to request the application forms and send their document to the following addresses:
Time line will be not later 20 days from the delivery of document and any document reaching later than April 20, 2108 will not be accepted.
Guinea claims it is home to the world’s largest reserves of bauxite, yet it ranks fourth in exports. The government is aiming to boost production by 30 per cent in order to generate revenue through export and also by adding value to it through the development of an aluminium supply chain.
