Recycling tuikku aluminum cups saves electricity and reduces carbon dioxide emissions

...Just before Christmas, the international recycling company Kuusakoski challenged all primary schools in the city of Heinola to a hunt for used tuikku tealights.
These tealights are small circular candles encased in a thin metal cover so that the candle can liquefy completely while lit. Multiple tealights are often burned simultaneously.
The metal cover is made of aluminium (aluminum if you are in North America), which can be melted down and used as a raw material for new aluminium products...
