EDITED BY : SARNALI CHAKRABORTY 4MINS READ

Aluminium Bahrain embraced digital transformation by using Virtual Reality (VR) technology into five key areas for its internal training courses. The effort was undertaken in conjunction with Atyaf eSolutions, and the signing ceremony took place on July 12, 2023. On July 27, 2023, Vice President Kashim Shettima reiterated Nigeria's steadfast commitment to revive the Aluminium Smelter Company of Nigeria in St. Petersburg, Russia. He emphasised the significance of actively interacting with key industry players to accomplish this aim. The London Metal Exchange (LME), the global trading centre for industrial metals and the location of the bulk of nonferrous metal futures transactions, is again pressured to remove Russian aluminium from its warehousing system. The Norwegian aluminium behemoth requests the exchange to rethink its November decision to continue accepting Russian metal supplies. Renato Bacchi was designated as the Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of Alcoa Corporation, beginning August 1, 2023. Kelly Thomas, the company's current Chief Commercial Officer, will depart to seek a professional opportunity outside of Alcoa.
