LME Lists High Grade Primary Aluminum Brand AAR

The London Metal Exchange said Wednesday it has approved the listing of high-grade aluminum brand AAR, which it said constitutes good delivery with immediate effect, the LME said.
The brand is produced by Canada-based Rio Tinto Alcan Inc. at the Arvida Works 1955 plant in Quebec, Canada, which has an annual plant capacity of 180,000 metric tons.
The product is produced in sow-shaped units of 1570mm x 895mm x 220mm with a pieceweight of 700kg, the LME said.
