LME aluminium surged by 0.83% to US$2,889/t; SHFE market is closed for the National Day holiday

LME aluminium benchmark price increased by 0.83 percent on Monday, October 4.
Both LME aluminium cash (bid) price and LME aluminium official settlement price elevated by US$24 or by 0.83 percent to close at US$2,888 per tonne and US$2,889 per tonne. 3-month bid price and 3-month offer price closed at US$2,908 per tonne and US$2,910 per tonne. December 22 bid price was recorded at US$2,790 per tonne and the offer price for the same day was found out to be US$2,795 per tonne.

LME aluminium opening stock for October 4 settled at 1218775 tonnes. Live warrants were recorded at 642750 and the cancelled warrant stood at 576025.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price for Monday, October 4 closed at 2876.77.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
The Shanghai Metal Market will be closed from October 1 to October 7 for the National Day holiday and will resume on October 8 2021.
