LME aluminium price closes 2.33% lower at US$2,847/t; SHFE market is closed for the Mid-Autumn Festivals holiday
On Monday, September 20, LME aluminium cash (bid) price decreased by US$67.5 or by 2.31 percent to close at US$2846.50 per tonne. The LME official settlement price dropped by US$68 or by 2.33 percent to settle at US$2847 per tonne. 3-month bid price and 3-month offer price closed at US$2856 per tonne and US$2857 per tonne. December 22 bid price stood at US$2695 per tonne and the offer price for the same day was recorded to be US$2700.
LME aluminium opening stock for September 20 settled at 1326150 tonnes. Live warrants were recorded at 764075 and the cancelled warrant closed at 562075.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price settled at US$2833.79 per tonne as of September 20.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
Due to the Mid-Autumn Festivals, the SMM officials are closed from September 19 to September 21, 2021.
