Henan discovers 47 million tonnes of bauxite reserves

<p>According to news on Shanghai Metals Market (SMM), a large bauxite deposit has been discovered in Dengfeng City, Henan Province. The news has been reported by local media.</p>

<p>The bauxite reserves are approximately of 47 million tonnes. The exploration work was finished in December 2016. The bauxite deposits has high ore grade that can be easily developed.</p>

<p>In January 2017, it was reported that Henan discovered bauxite reserves of 240 million tons. In the past, large bauxite deposits were confirmed. The province has been discovering bauxite reserves through exploration activities.</p>
