The third edition of AlCircle’s e-Magazine “Aluminium Industry 4.0: Drivers & Change Makers of 2021” is getting ready to be published this month. This denotes, that time is now to perceive from the key players of the aluminium value chain industry about the importance of Industry 4.0 or the Fourth Industrial Revolution in the manufacturing and industrial sector.

The companies and associations that have already confirmed their participation in this E-magazine include Granco Clark, Fives, Mecfor, Gouda Refractories, ALUMEX, SECO/WARWICK, TVARIT and International Aluminium Institute. However, the AlCircle Team is still welcoming more companies and associations on the e-Magazine, in an endeavour to broaden the participation and outpace the global reach in this edition.
Globally a large number of aluminium smelters are still mobilising the transformational potential of the 4th Industrial Revolution in a quest to position them as the ‘Smelter of the Future’. Predominantly in the background of the COVID-19 pandemic, the adoption of Industry 4.0 and Digitisation has proved to be inevitable in achieving higher productivity at a limited time and with reduced workforces as it uses a large-scale machine to machine communication (M2M) to enable data transfer and management, increase automation, and enhance communication and self-monitoring.
The new edition of the e-Magazine will engulf interviews and articles of some of the eminent aluminium industry players, leading technology enthusiasts, and path-breakers of digitisation in the aluminium industry. They will be sharing their valuable views on Industry 4.0 and how it may benefit you in shaping your business in 2021 or help you mitigate the impact of the ongoing pandemic.
